The Grey Muse: A Collection of Poetry (no longer published)
There are poets, and then there’s Sahm Ataine King, and for King, a poem isn’t as simple as penning a verse in rhyme; for King, it’s oft times erratic and without a discernible reason…that is, until you immerse yourself in the words and pluck out the meaning hidden in the spaces and between the lines. You want rhyme and complexities painted in words you do not understand? The best advice is to run and go look at Ol’ William Shakespeare. You want meaning, dimension, brutal honesty, insanity, and idealism on the scale of Godzilla meets Tokyo? L’aria Onyx is the poetry collection to end all poetry collections on kindle.
In language, there is magic, and in a word, a thousand and one ideas. Even in darkness, there is light, and every virtue must be tainted with a fault.
Such is the philosophy of Sahm Ataine King, the acceptance of all the things that make the self; the coming to grips with the monsters and the heroes that exist within us all.
Enter the mind of a virtual unknown, an artist with a penchant for controversy, expression, and coming face to face with the self; enter L’aria Onyx, the newest work of poetry on kindle.
Wake up; it’s poetry…and it’s as real as it gets.
“My name is Black. Dominick Black. I have a big… Ahem.”
Dominick Black is a man with a problem: an insatiable sexual appetite coupled with a lack of inhibition.
When Black is informed by his boss that he has to take care of his overactive libido issue or lose his job, he reluctantly agrees to do what he must. What could it hurt?
From the unrelenting and murderous infatuations of a man he thought he knew, and the revelations of a past he thought was long buried, Dominick Black is in for one wild, hot, and disturbing ride.
Entertaining, erotic, compelling, and arousing, 28 Shades of Black is a tale that will make lovers of the applauded Fifty Shades Trilogy blush and read between their fingers.
Of course, once you go Black… You know the rest.
*This book is intended for mature audiences.

Hey
Just posted a review for 28 Shades of Black — check it out here: http://michelleproulx.wordpress.com/2013/02/12/book-review-28-shades-of-black-by-sahm-king/
Ouch…you read that? Lol. Well, I apologize, and thank you, Ms. Proulx!
Seriously, though…what possessed you to do that???? Kidding. Kidding. Thank you.
I found it bizarre and oddly intriguing. No apologies necessary
I feel more enlightened as a result of reading it. I’ve also learned not to visit the bathroom at the same time as a psycho serial killer. Which, really, I should have already known, but your novel definitely drove the point home.
